We invite you to join us at our Integration Circle on Thursday January 11th, 7.15 pm - 9.15 pm Lydgate Lane, Sheffield.
The goal of a Psychedelic Integration Circle is to help participants to process psychedelic experiences and to provide support for them to implement the profound lessons that they may have gained during those journeys.
People take it in turns to listen to and share their experiences, thoughts and feelings related to psychedelic experiences, and support one another in the process of integration, connecting the dots between experiences that may feel disjointed, and finding ways of grounding the insights into everyday life.
Participants may also share their thoughts and feelings about a journey that has not yet happened to help them mentally prepare.
Psychedelic experiences can be very powerful, and can open us up in all sorts of ways, some more easy to accept and live with than others. Some experiences can feel overwhelmingly positive, even taking us beyond our normal ego boundaries, and some can feel challenging because we confront difficult emotions or memories or they challenge our view of reality in an unsettling way.
The psychedelic integration circle provides a supportive and non-judgmental space where anyone can open up and share about these experiences, where we can ‘do some work’ on them and get some perspective.
You could say that the integration of the experience is at least as important as the experience itself.
The circle will be facilitated each time by one or two members of our team, who all have experience of working with non-ordinary states of consciousness and helping people to integrate psychedelic journeys. We aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space that supports connection, healing and growth. And over time we hope this monthly circle will come to feel like a community that meets regularly to support, learn and grow together. We are asking for a £10 contribution to cover costs.
